My latest free ‘Introvert Insights’ call client would – it was her goal for the month
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
She filled out my pre-call questions with an incredible, detailed business plan for the next 6, 12 & 36 months
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There were teams being built, group programs launching, international retreats, 7 figure revenue projections – it sounded amazing & VERY well structured
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When we spoke I complimented her on her ambition & clarity
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Her eyes lit up as we discussed her 2022 goals
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So I couldn’t help but wonder…
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
With all of this foresight, planning & drive…
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What exactly was stopping this introvert hitting that $20k month?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Then the sparkle went, she looked down & said:

“Uh, well, I can’t sign clients consistently. I’ve only had a few & they were months apart”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Oh
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So I delved deeper
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I asked her about her current niche & messaging
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“I don’t really have one”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What marketing strategy was…
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Silence
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I asked if she had a detailed plan, like the long term one she’d submitted, for this week or even this month?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Nope
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As introverts there’s nothing we love more than going inwards and designing these amazing futures for ourselves
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Our rich imagination means we have incredible long term vision, which is great!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But that can also be the enemy of our success right now
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Real talk – If you’re not visible, not marketing yourself & not promoting your offers, getting consistent clients is not going to be a breeze…
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Look I get it – the online space is noisy, & it’s SO easy to get seduced by everyone else’s fantastic results, but…
But there’s work to do to get there:
You need to build a bridge from $0k to ANYTHING above that $k months
That bridge is build on stuff that probably doesn’t sound as enticing as a 6 figure launch –
Habits, routines & consistency
Marketing, content & visibility
But ask ANY successful business owner & they’ll tell you that it’s those things, done on repeat over & over again, that enabled them to hit $20k months, 6 figure launches, 7 figures of revenue, etc
So my 3 actionable tips to this clients were:
Pick 1 social media platform
Post business related content on there daily
Repeat!
It might not sound sexy but consistent daily actions in your business are KEY for attracting consistent clients
So my learning point to share from this call…
Ask yourself honestly – “Is what I’m doing in my business right now building that bridge to carry me to where I want to be in the future?”
And if not – what can you start to do today to create success both short and long term?
